As a novice to an Anime Convention, I don’t know what to expect of the upcoming HoyoFest. I’ve only been to one Anime Convention, and that was 2 years ago. As of writing this, it’s my first time in a while going to an Anime Convention. It is an unexpected turn of events. Should I be hype for this? I have been MIA from the community itself and have been playing ZZZ in a leisurely pace.
I might geek out when I see Yi Xuan, Zhu Yuan, Yanagi. (Definitely). But other than that, what can I as a novice expect from these kinds of conventions? Will there be heavily discounted merch? Artist booth? Meet and Greets? The possibilities are endless. I am hoping to stay “F2P” during my visit, but the merchandises look tempting. Hoping for some improvements from the devs and organisers for this convention.
Waifus In Crowded Places???
The event itself will be held at Pavilion Exhibition Centre Bukit Jalil. Which is going to be super crowded for a neet like me. Tasukete Onegai! I am not fond of crowded places! But the thought of meeting my waifus is something that I must do. My fellow Travellers, Trailblazers and Proxies. How does one overcome such crowd-inducing anxiety just to meet their fellow waifus? From the layout itself, I can only imagine how crowded it will be.
Hopeful for Contents!
Alright. I’ll probably lose my cool when I see a group of Archons, Emanators and Mommies. Um, I mean respectful beautiful waifus that are surprisingly 3D. In all honesty, will they be friendly? Is it okay to have a chat and take a couple of pictures with the characters that we love? At the end of the day, we all are united and have a thing or two in common with the characters that we look up to. Let it be because of their lore. Character design. And the way they make us feel throughout our silent battles.
Regardless, I do hope that we’ll have a good time and make new memories together. Hope to see some of y’all. And may the stars align with our fate. Soreja, jaane!
