Later, his company merged with Peter Thiel’s Confinity to become what we know today as PayPal. In 2002, PayPal was sold for $1.5 billion and Musk walked off with $180 million.

After completing his Zip2 and PayPal chapter, the internet in his list is checked. Then, he started a new company called SpaceX.
