Samsung AI TV lineup has recently been launched, and those smart televisions sure pack a punch with so many features, for sure. Considering how geeky I can be at times when I see new things, these features definitely sound like an “Oh, I must have this in my home” device.
Televisions used to be just a device for you to watch shows, movies, or series with your family members, friends, or neighbours who come over for Eid celebrations. It’s basically a hub for everyone to gather and mingle. Now, Samsung has taken a step further and made their new products an actual hub to connect all of your smart devices at home.
It’s no longer just about having a big screen. It’s about what the TV can do. And right now, Samsung is trying to make sure that, no matter how good their televisions can be, they protect your health as well.
The new Samsung AI TV lineup focuses a lot on accessibility and protection features for its users. Samsung’s new Vision AI technology, for example, offers beyond crystal-clear visuals for a more personalised, eye-friendly viewing experience, no matter your room setting or content.
Samsung Vision AI Technology: Smarter Viewing, Tailored to You

The 2025 AI TV lineup brings personalised and eye-friendly entertainment into your home with the new Samsung Vision AI technology. These televisions use visual recognition to analyse whatever content being displayed in real time. This means the engine detects faces, scenes, lighting, and on-screen text, all whilst adjusting picture settings to match accordingly.
So let’s say you’re watching a shadowy thriller at night, or a vibrant kids’ show in a sunlit room, the AI Picture feature fine-tunes contrast, brightness, and colour balance to reduce eye strain and enhance clarity.
Think of it like the night like feature you see in modern screens on televisions, smartphones, and laptops, where instead of the usual blue screen, it changes to yellow-ish to reduce eye strain. But you have to manually adjust it to fit to your liking. Samsung AI TV automatically changes this as you go, so you yourself don’t have to.
AI Upscaling also plays a key role, turning older HD content into near, 4K or 8K quality without adding harshness or visual fatigue. Whilst this might slightly raise some questions from the public (maybe some prefer to preserve the originality of the old content), it does prove to be beneficial for clearer viewing on a large TV that was not too publicly available in the previous years.
With the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) on AI devices (in this case, the Samsung AI TVs) nowadays, it can also learn your viewing habits. Over time, they understand what you watch and how you watch it – and subtly tweak visual settings for each user in the household. This means less squinting, less adjusting, and more relaxing.
A TV That Knows the Room Better Than You Do

Where you place your TV matters, and Samsung knows this. The 2025 AI TVs come with Adaptive Picture Pro, which senses ambient light and automatically adjusts brightness and contrast for optimal visibility. Whether your living room is flooded with sunlight or dimmed for a cosy evening, the screen remains comfortable to look at.
This feature is particularly helpful in Malaysia’s dynamic home settings, from open-plan living rooms to bedroom mini-cinemas, especially since Samsung devices are very well-praised for having beautiful and bright screens, and they still hold the reputation up until now.
Certified for Quality and Comfort

Following its recent ‘Real Quantum Dot Display’ Certification from TÜV Rheinland, Samsung reinforces its commitment to eye-safe colour quality. Unlike displays that exaggerate hues and cause strain, Samsung QLED TVs are recognised for maintaining colour integrity and safety at all brightness levels.
If there’s anything that sets Samsung TV apart from any other brands, it’s definitely the screen vividness. Have you seen The Frame by Samsung? The artwork displayed on it looks so lifelike that I forgot it’s still a screen. But there’s more that Samsung AI TV offers, which you can read more below.
Maximise Your Space for a Bigger, Better Screen
Thanks to Samsung’s slim design and distance guide, you can opt for a larger screen than you might expect—even in smaller rooms. The sleek build ensures your TV fits seamlessly into your space while delivering an immersive viewing experience.
Go Adaptive
Modern TVs come equipped with features like Adaptive Picture Pro and EyeComfort Mode, which automatically adjust brightness and colour to reduce eye strain. Whether you’re watching in a dark room or under bright lights, these technologies ensure optimal comfort for your eyes.
Future-Proof Your Content
With AI Upscaling, even older content like DVDs gets a visual boost, making it look sharper and more vibrant. This means your favourite classic movies and shows will look stunning on your new TV, bridging the gap between old and new media.
Make It a Hub
Samsung’s SmartThings integration turns your TV into the centre of your smart home ecosystem. Easily connect and control lighting, audio systems, appliances, and more—all from one convenient interface.
Final Thoughts

The new Samsung AI TV lineup can be seen as one of those devices where you won’t see any difference from your current devices, UNTIL you decide to give it a try. It doesn’t just deliver better pixels; it delivers a more thoughtful way to watch. From dynamic picture adjustment to certified eye protection, it proves that smarter screens can also be kinder to your eyes.
