This collective action is estimated to have contributed to the preservation of 131,316 trees, highlighting the powerful environmental benefit derived from circular economy practices.
Responsible End-of-Life Management
Completing the sustainability loop, Samsung has addressed responsible end-of-life management through the introduction of Eco Recycle Boxes across its nationwide service centre network. These accessible collection points provide a convenient, safe channel for customers to dispose of old devices and accessories, ensuring they bypass landfills. By the end of 2024, the program had successfully collected a total of 138.68 kilograms of e-waste, demonstrating accountability for the entire product lifecycle.
