Before we start, in “The Experts,” it revolves around five siblings with unique skills reunite to execute a massive heist after their youngest brother is released from prison, only to find themselves entangled in a web of threats and betrayal. The movie checks every factor that made a heist movie rule. You know, the groovy funk music in the background, comedic scenes with perfect timings, twisty plots, and unchronological storytelling.

Regardless, the movie knows when to get serious. There are some scenes where the siblings need to have heartfelt conversations or the time where they need to show that villains are menacing. They didn’t ruin these serious scenes with premature jokes (I’m looking at you, Marvel).
Clean Plot But Nothing Exceptional
The plot of the movie is pretty good. We can safely say that there are no plot holes in this film. Every time you think you spot one, the flashback sequences will explain the reasonings.
Regardless, this movie lacks that ‘wow factor’–the thing that sets the movie apart from other heist stories. The sting operation is generic but not necessarily bad.

“The Experts” is a solid entry into the heist genre with its well-executed heist theme, fast-paced story, and balanced mix of comedy and serious moments. The movie excels in delivering a groovy, engaging experience, reminiscent of Hollywood’s best, while maintaining a uniquely local flavor.
