What Will Happen in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3?

The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 isn’t even out yet, and guess what — Season 3 is already greenlit and ready to roll. Yup, this marks the first live-action Marvel series on Disney+ to score three seasons.

As a lifelong Daredevil fanatic, let’s talk about where this bloody, broken, and beautiful story could go next.

Kingpin Rules. Vigilantes Drool.

The Defenders may return in Season 2 but what will happen ‘after’?

Season 1 ended with Kingpin being literally unstoppable. Vigilantes are outlawed. New York is his playground.

Meanwhile, Matt Murdock is quietly building an army to “defend” his city. Sounds familiar? Maybe the Defenders are making a comeback.

But what happens after that? Oh, I’ve got theories.

Bullseye’s Revenge (And Vanessa’s Last Mistake)

Kingpin might actually die in Season 2

We all know Vanessa was the reason Bullseye got out of the psych ward. She’s the one who stopped him from getting the help he needed — and you just know he’s not letting that slide. My guess? Bullseye’s gonna kill her.

That’s the spark that lights the whole city on fire.

Kingpin loses it, swears to kill Bullseye, but guess who steps in? Yep — Daredevil. Because of his no-kill code, he’ll try to stop Fisk from committing murder.

But in a tragic twist, Daredevil ends up killing Kingpin himself.

By accident. In remorse. And in the darkest moment of his life.

Daredevil On Trial

Daredevil might end up in prison

Killing the Mayor of New York? Yeah, that’s not something you walk away from. The government hunts Daredevil down. But Daredevil turns himself in. And now he’s in prison — either surrounded by criminals who want him dead or ex-vigilantes want to follow him.

Back in New York, Kingpin’s death leaves a massive power vacuum. Chaos erupts. Gang wars explode. And it’s time for a new villain to rise.

The Next Big Villain: My Top 5 Picks

#5: Nuke

Nuke is in the original ‘Born Again’ comic

A psychotic soldier who screams “America!” while setting buildings on fire. This guy’s basically the Kingpin’s spiritual successor — and he’s a key player in the original Born Again comic. You can’t skip him.

#4: Ikari

He can actually see

A ninja with radar sense like Daredevil — except he can actually see. He once wore the classic yellow suit and nearly killed Matt. Imagine the symbolism.

#3: Bullseye

Bullseye has no interest in ruling anything

He’s not a ruler — he’s chaos incarnate. I don’t think he’ll lead the crime world, but he’ll definitely steal the spotlight. He is Daredevil’s Joker, after all.

#2: The Punisher

The Punisher will lead The Hand ninjas

Oh, this is juicy. Imagine The Hand trying to take over New York again — only for Punisher to kill their leader and take command. A literal army of ninjas following Frank Castle? Yeah, that’s a nightmare.

#1: Elektra

Elektra will ask a favor from Daredevil to defeat The Punisher

If The Hand is involved, Elektra’s resurrection feels inevitable. She’s done it before. And seeing what Punisher becomes, she might just break Daredevil out of prison to stop him.

Finale: Daredevil vs Punisher

This actually happens in the comics

Season 2 could end in a full-blown Daredevil vs Punisher war, a brutal clash between justice and vengeance — between mercy and massacre.

Sounds crazy? It’s not. Everything I’ve mentioned — Daredevil killing someone, going to prison, Punisher ruling The Hand — it’s all based on Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto’s comic run.

So yeah, this could actually happen.

And if it does?
Disney+ might just deliver the darkest, bloodiest, and most morally complex Marvel story ever.
