OPPO launches its new Reno series, OPPO Reno 14 5G on 1st July 2025.

After multiple teasers about its release, OPPO has finally debuted the launch of the OPPO Reno 14 series, alongside other OPPO accessories (Enco Buds3 and Watch X2 mini). The series includes the Reno14 Pro 5G, Reno14 5G, and Reno14 F 5G, combining cutting-edge AI Flash Photography with a stunning Iridescent Mermaid Design that blends technology and aesthetics seamlessly. Staying true to its youth-centric design philosophy, the Reno14 Series brings the trending mermaidcore aesthetic to life with its Iridescent Mermaid Design. To achieve this mesmerising effect, OPPO developed the Iridescent Glow Process, an intricate technique involving twelve refined coating layers and five precision manufacturing stages. This creates ultra-fine optical textures that produce fluid light refractions, giving the back cover its signature shimmer.

The Reno14 Series introduces AI Flash Photography, elevating creative possibilities. The Reno14 Pro 5G and Reno14 5G feature a breakthrough triple-flash system, with dual flash units for the main and ultra-wide cameras and an industry-first dedicated focus flash for the telephoto camera. This system delivers brightness up to 10 times brighter than the previous generation, ensuring optimal lighting even when zoomed in. The Reno14 F 5G includes a dual-flash system twice as bright as its predecessor.
The upgraded Flash Mode allows users to capture bright, three-dimensional shots with natural skin tones in low-light conditions. Running on ColorOS 15, the Reno14 Series introduces AI Mind Space, which consolidates fragmented information with a three-finger swipe. AI Call Summary provides real-time call summaries, while AI Call Translator offers live two-way translation. AI VoiceScribe records, summarises, and translates calls and meetings across 20 languages.
The Translate app enables real-time camera translations for physical content like menus and supports bilingual conversations via voice or split-screen modes.
Performance and Gaming Excellence
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, the Reno14 Pro 5G delivers a 41% multi-core performance boost and 44% lower power consumption. The Arm Mali-G720 GPU enhances graphics performance by 24% with 42% reduced power draw.
Advanced cooling systems, including an AI Nano Dual-Drive Cooling System and Vapor Chamber, ensure sustained performance during extended gaming sessions. AI LinkBoost 3.0 optimises network stability, while the 6,200mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. A 10-minute charge provides up to 13.2 hours of calls or 7 hours of video playback.
The Reno14 5G and Reno14 F 5G feature 6,000mAh batteries with SUPERVOOC™ fast charging. All models run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, with five major OS upgrades promised.
