Enough time has passed—we all know how powerful the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm is. Galactus wanted him so badly and he even brought Franklin’s mother back from the dead. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Let’s look at his most insane comic-book feats and how they might tie into Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

This baby might be responsible the reset of the MCU

Franklin Richards’ Top Five Craziest Feats In The Comics

Franklin HUMILIATED Galactus by turning him into his herald

Sure, he can fly, shoot energy blasts, and punch bad guys into next week—but all of that comes from his reality-warping omnipotence. He can literally create and manipulate reality at will.

  • As a child, Reed Richards had to blast Franklin’s head with anti-matter because his powers were dangerously strong.
  • He revived Galactus and made him his herald to defeat the Celestials—essentially the gods of the Marvel Universe. (Do you know how humiliating it is for Galactus to be a herald?)
  • When the world was destroyed by Onslaught, he created a pocket dimension called Heroes Reborn. He even stored all the superheroes inside a globe and casually carried it around like a snow globe.
  • He obliterated Mephisto, the literal Satan of the Marvel Universe, across multiple dimensions.
  • After Secret Wars, Franklin and the Fantastic Four took a detour to recreate the entire multiverse from scratch.
That’s pretty fantastic for the first steps as a baby

So yeah—reviving his mom? That’s nothing.

What Could Be His Role in Avengers: Doomsday?

The post credit scene of Fantastic Four: First Steps

Let’s be real—there’s no way Marvel Studios will adapt his comic-book lore 1:1. It’s just too deep and too different from the MCU.

Originally, my theory was that Doctor Doom would conquer the TVA, steal the powers of Scarlet Witch and Loki, reset the multiverse, and somehow end up with Iron Man’s face. Meanwhile, the Avengers would battle X-Men from other universes. Maybe Doom would use Franklin to execute that plan.

But after watching the post-credit scenes of Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four: First Steps, I’m rethinking everything.

We already know the X-Men are confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday. And here’s the key detail—Franklin Richards is technically a mutant. Rumor has it Marvel even filmed a fight scene at the X-Mansion, possibly between Doctor Doom and the X-Men.

Connecting the Dots

Franklin has not achieved this level of omnipotence just yet

In Fantastic Four: First Steps, Franklin clearly hasn’t reached his comic-book god-tier level yet. Sure, he brought his mom back to life, but he’s nowhere near casually sneezing a pocket universe into existence.

So here’s my updated theory:

  • Doctor Doom will want to amplify Franklin’s powers.
  • He kidnaps Franklin and takes him to the X-Men’s universe.
  • He forces Professor X to unlock Franklin’s full potential through telepathy powers.
  • With that power, Doom will try to either reset the multiverse or attack the TVA.

Conclusion

Franklin Richards might be the MCU’s most important wildcard going into Avengers: Doomsday. Whether he becomes the Avengers’ greatest ally—or their biggest threat—depends entirely on whose side he ends up on.
